Paratha (Flaky and Stuffed)

Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Water Adjust as needed
Filling
  • 1 cup Mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee or oil

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough.
  2. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped onions, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt.
Make the Parathas
  1. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  2. Flatten each ball, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and fold the edges to seal.
  3. Roll out the stuffed dough gently into a flat circle.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the paratha, applying ghee or oil until golden brown on both sides.
