Method
Prepare the Base Layer
- In a food processor, blend the dates, nuts, and cocoa powder until a sticky mixture forms.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish to form the base layer.
Make the Caramel Layer
- In a bowl, mix the coconut cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the caramel mixture over the base layer in the baking dish.
Prepare the Matcha Layer
- Combine the matcha powder and melted coconut oil in a bowl and mix well.
- Pour the matcha mixture over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours to set.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
