Ingredients
  

Base Layer
  • 1 cup dates pitted
  • 1 cup nuts almonds or cashews
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Caramel Layer
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Matcha Layer
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted

Method
 

Prepare the Base Layer
  1. In a food processor, blend the dates, nuts, and cocoa powder until a sticky mixture forms.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish to form the base layer.
Make the Caramel Layer
  1. In a bowl, mix the coconut cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the caramel mixture over the base layer in the baking dish.
Prepare the Matcha Layer
  1. Combine the matcha powder and melted coconut oil in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Pour the matcha mixture over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
Chill and Serve
  1. Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours to set.
  2. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
