No-bake Matcha Tiramisu

Ingredients
  

Matcha Cream Layer
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder plus extra for dusting
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Coffee Layer
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur optional
  • 12 pieces ladyfinger cookies

Method
 

Prepare the Matcha Cream
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, matcha powder, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Tiramisu
  1. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and layer them in the bottom of a 9x9 inch dish.
  2. Spread half of the matcha cream over the ladyfingers. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers and matcha cream.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Before serving, dust the top with extra matcha powder.

Notes
