Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
Filling
  • 1 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup champagne
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar until crumbly. Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
  2. Press the dough into the tart pan evenly and prick the bottom with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
Make the Filling
  1. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, champagne, sugar, eggs, and orange zest until well combined.
  2. Pour the filling into the baked crust and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until set.
Serve
  1. Allow the tart to cool before slicing. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
