Method
Prepare the crust
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Golden Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
Make the filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream until well combined.
Assemble the cheesecake
- Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Serve
- Garnish with additional whipped cream and Golden Oreo cookies before serving.
