Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for coating
  • 1 tablespoon paprika for seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces burger buns preferably toasted
  • 4 slices cheese optional
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced for topping
  • 1 cup pickles for topping

Method
 

Marinate Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine chicken breasts and buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Prepare Coating
  1. In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Fry Chicken
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture, then fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
Assemble Sandwich
  1. Place fried chicken on the bottom half of each bun. Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Cover with the top half of the bun.
