Ingredients
  

Falafel Batter
  • 1 cup chickpeas cooked or canned
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup flour all-purpose or chickpea flour
  • 1 cup water as needed for consistency

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, and baking powder. Blend until smooth.
  2. Gradually add flour and water until the mixture reaches a batter-like consistency.
Cook the Waffles
  1. Preheat the waffle maker and lightly grease it.
  2. Pour the batter into the waffle maker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.
