Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Candied Bacon
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Method
 

Prepare the Candied Bacon
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the bacon on the baking sheet and sprinkle brown sugar over each slice.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy and caramelized. Let cool and chop into small pieces.
Make the Ice Cream Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Churn and Combine
  1. Pour the ice cream base into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Once the ice cream is thickened, fold in the candied bacon pieces.
  3. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
