Prepare Muffin Batter
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine all the dry ingredients for the muffin batter.
- In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fold in the diced pears gently.
Make Oatmeal Streusel
- In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
Bake Muffins
- Spoon the muffin batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Sprinkle the oatmeal streusel on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin.
