  • 8 oz deli ham, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Swiss)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 4 inches each).
  3. Place a slice of ham and a generous amount of cheese in the center of each square.
  4. Fold each square over to form triangles and seal edges with a fork.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the beaten egg with water and brush over the tops of the pastry pockets.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
